I get asked daily why I choose dentistry. In the beginning of my career, I could not really answer the question. I did not know why I went to dental school. I love our profession, but I could not give a definitive answer for what my motivation was to become the best dentist I can be and to still enjoy the journey.
But now I know. After many years in private practice, it became apparent. It is because of all the impeccable dentistry I received and in such a way that it made a big difference in my life. It was most probably a subconscious decision, made as a young 18-year-old, to help others as I was helped.
And this is why I do what I do - to provide advanced dentistry in a relaxed and friendly environment; to help people feel good about themselves; to make my patients smile again. Welcome to my practice and thank you for making me love my job.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, I enrolled in a postgraduate diploma in Dental Implantology under renowned Professor Marnewick. Wanting to start my own private practice, but lacking business skills, I approached Professor White and completed a post-graduate diploma in Private Practice Management.
My interest in orthodontics started when I received orthodontic treatment for a very long time and the difference it made to my self-esteem. Thus, I attended several courses on orthodontics to provide my patients quality but affordable orthodontic treatment.
I am affiliated with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPSCA), South African Dental Association (SADA), International Team of Implantology (ITI), International Association of Orthodontics (IAO) and the Winelands Dental Club.
Technology is influencing our profession tremendously, making dentistry more accurate and comfortable for our patients. I have invested in computerised dentistry for the past several years and the future is digital dental treatments. With all the specialised dentistry we do, dental hygiene developed into a significant department in our practice, and we are proud of our dental hygienists preventing dental problems and maintaining dentistry performed at our clinic.
